"Traces the origin of a particular gestural characteristic to a strong connection with my Grandmother in a critical period of identity formation. The photographs document the pushing and exaggerating of my gestures until they become identical to my Grandmother's, my hands become hers, my thoughts are hers, my whole personality becomes merged with hers."
